Who We Are

A Family-Owned NJ Roofer That Picks Up the Phone

Quality Roof Pros is a family-owned, Owens Corning Platinum Preferred roofing contractor based at 233 Lake Rd in Brick Township, New Jersey. Owner Charles Kearns has been in construction since 1978. Among the family-owned roofing companies in New Jersey, that experience and contractor profile are publicly verifiable in the Owens Corning contractor directory. We install, replace and repair roofs across Ocean, Monmouth, Middlesex and Atlantic Counties. We answer the phone 24/7 for storm damage, fallen trees, ice dams and active leaks. Every install carries a 30-year Quality Roof Pros labor warranty paired with the Owens Corning Lifetime manufacturer warranty. In our experience, most roof problems on the Jersey Shore can be fixed without a full replacement when you catch them early. A free inspection is the fastest way to know which side of that line your roof is on. (732) 770-3867.

We run small, on purpose. The crew that climbs your roof is the same crew that estimated it. Charles started in construction in 1978 and built Quality Roof Pros around what he learned about coastal NJ homes. Salt air shows up in fascia corners and flashing joints first, and we size materials for that exposure on every job within a mile of the ocean. If your roof is doing something it shouldn't, we'd rather come look than guess over the phone.

Why Quality Roof Pros

Why Brick Township homeowners
pick us first.

Quality Roof Pros is a small specialty roofing crew. The roofer who estimates your job is the same roofer who installs it. Salt air ages roofs faster than inland weather. On coastal Ocean County and Monmouth County homes, the aging shows up in fascia corners and flashing joints first, so we size materials and fasteners for that exposure on every coastal job. If your roof is doing something it shouldn't, schedule a free inspection. Diagnosing a leak in person is faster and more accurate than diagnosing one over the phone.

The Process

Four steps. No surprises.

Here's exactly what happens when you call. Beginning to end.

01

Call or Request an Inspection

Tell us what you're seeing. Storm damage, slow leak, end-of-life roof. We diagnose by phone when we can and dispatch a crew when we can't. For active emergencies, we move immediately.

02

Free On-Site Inspection

Our roofer climbs the roof, photographs every issue, and emails a written condition report. Not a sales pitch. We tell you when a repair is sufficient and when a replacement is the better long-term call.

03

Written Estimate

Line-item pricing, material specs, and the warranty in writing before you sign anything. If something shifts mid-job, you hear about it first. Not after.

04

Install and Cleanup

Job finishes on the scheduled date. Cleanup runs at the end of every work day, and a magnetic nail sweep covers your driveway and yard when the project wraps. Final walkthrough before we invoice. Anything that needs adjustment gets adjusted on the spot.

Storm Damage

Storm hit? We help you document the claim.

Nor'easters don't care what your deductible is. After a big one, your insurance adjuster is going to ask for photos, dates, and a contractor's report. We'll give you all three.

  • Free post-storm inspection with photo documentation.
  • Written damage report you can send straight to your adjuster.
  • Emergency tarping and board-ups available 24/7 so the damage doesn't get worse while you wait.

Important: we help document the claim. We don't negotiate with adjusters for you. That's regulated work in NJ, and anyone who tells you otherwise is skating on thin ice.

Common Questions

Answers before you call.

How much does a new roof cost in NJ?
Across the Ocean County jobs we run, a typical 2,000-square-foot home with an Owens Corning Total Protection system lands roughly $9,500 to $22,000 depending on roof size, pitch, and tear-off complexity. Coastal homes with full tear-off plus stainless flashing trend higher. Designer shingles like the Owens Corning Berkshire profile add another 30 percent on top of standard architectural pricing. We give line-item written estimates after a free inspection. No pressure to sign on the spot.
Can a roof leak be repaired without a full replacement?
Most roof leaks on the Jersey Shore are fixable without a full replacement when caught early. Common causes include cracked pipe boots, lifted shingles around the valleys, failed flashing at chimney joints, and ice dam damage along the eaves. We diagnose first and recommend repair when repair is genuinely the right call. If your roof has another five-plus years of useful life, we will tell you. If it does not, we will tell you that too.
How fast can you respond to an emergency roof repair in Ocean County?
Most Ocean County emergency calls get a same-day in-person response when weather allows safe-climb conditions. Brick Township sits minutes from the Jersey Shore and a short drive from Point Pleasant. For storm-active calls, we dispatch a tarping crew once wind speeds drop to safe-climb conditions. We answer the phone 24/7 at (732) 770-3867. The call goes straight through to someone on the crew.
Do you offer emergency tarping after a storm?
Yes. We tarp roofs after storms across all four counties we serve, day or night, once conditions are safe to climb. After a nor'easter or hurricane, our priority is preventing additional water damage while the insurance process plays out. We document the damage with photos and write up a condition report you can hand to your adjuster.
How do I know if storm damage is bad enough to file an insurance claim?
Visible signs of insurance-claimable storm damage include missing or lifted shingles, cracked or split shingles from hail impact, gutter damage from wind, fallen tree limbs on the roof, and visible deck damage. We inspect for free and email a written photo report you can send straight to your insurance adjuster. We help document the claim. We do not negotiate the claim with the adjuster, that is regulated work in NJ.
How long does a roof replacement take?
An Owens Corning Total Protection install on a typical 2,000-square-foot Ocean County roof takes 1 to 2 working days when weather cooperates. Designer shingles or larger homes can run an extra half day. If we hit rotted plywood under the old shingles, we replace it at a standard plywood rate plus labor, and we show you the rotted boards before we replace them. We haul the old shingles and debris the same day the install finishes. No dumpster sitting in your driveway for a week.
What warranty comes with a new roof from Quality Roof Pros?
Every install is covered by a 30-year Quality Roof Pros labor warranty plus the Owens Corning Lifetime manufacturer warranty. Both warranties get registered in your name during the final walkthrough, and you receive the registration confirmation by email. The OC Lifetime warranty covers material defects on the shingles for the life of the roof. The 30-year labor warranty covers our installation work.
What Ocean County and Monmouth County towns do you serve?
We serve all of Ocean County (Brick Township, Toms River, Jackson, Lakewood, Point Pleasant, Manahawkin, Beach Haven and surrounding towns) and Monmouth County (Manasquan, Wall Township, Howell, Middletown, Freehold, Spring Lake, Matawan and surrounding towns). We also cover all of Middlesex and Atlantic Counties. If your town is not on the list and you are inside one of those four counties, you are still in our service area.
