Manahawkin sits at the mainland end of the Manahawkin Bay Causeway - the bridge to Long Beach Island. That makes it a service hub for coastal homeowners on LBI who can't get materials trucked across the bridge during storm season.

Stafford Township housing splits roughly 60 percent inland (less salt exposure) and 40 percent coastal-adjacent (bayside Beach Haven West, Mystic Island, Cedar Run). The coastal-adjacent neighborhoods see partial salt exposure - not full ocean exposure but enough to matter for material choice.

We use Manahawkin as a staging area when we're doing LBI work. We drive stainless flashing and premium materials across the causeway in one trip rather than multiple. The drive from Brick to Manahawkin is roughly 30 minutes. From Manahawkin to Beach Haven via causeway is another 12-15.

We work all of Manahawkin proper plus the coastal-adjacent communities: Beach Haven West, Mystic Island, Cedar Run. Coastal-adjacent gets the aluminum flashing and stainless fastener spec; inland Stafford gets standard galvanized.
